Hey all, i’ve got the Presenter Mouse, any news on a failproof way to get this to work? Running Snow Leapard 10.6.4 and I’m still having trouble. On occasions my internal bluetooth will detect the mouse, but shortly after the connection will be lost – very erratic! Also noticed that even if i turn the mouse upside down to check if the lights are flashing it will trigger the connection to be lost.

Pairing with the included dongle is also not an option. I lost it somewhere along the 3 years i’ve had this mouse – on a side note, does anyone know of a place where I could purchase it again if need be?

Someone please help, losing all hope for this mouse that was once awesome

I tried to format macintosh OS to windows 7 on my imac so it was installing cool suddenly it was stopped at 44% it showed about 12hours and i unpluged it because wont change next time i tried to switch on my imac but i see my screen just white and i want to take my windows 7 boot cd from cd rom but cant how can i fix it please help me somebody

any suggestions? I keep geeting a message on Outlook, 2007, IMAP server wants to alert mail is not available. I click it, I get mail, but the alert flashes every time I load outlook. Someone says, IMAP file is bad? I removed Outlook, reloaded, same problem. HELP

I have a mid 2010 mini mac server runnings windows 7 within parallels and works great. However, I need a bootcamp of windows on the 2nd hard drive to connect with a software defined radio that requires a firewire connection (firewire does not work from within parallels).

Because the mid 2010mini mac server has OSX server, it does not have a bootcamp function. Parallels can only ass OSX server as a VM, not OSX (if I could get a VM of 10.6, then it would have bootcamp, and I could try to get my native windows drive that way). But failed, OSX non-server not supported by parallels.

I came up this thread, and now wonder if I can use your method to install windows on the second (and empty) hard drive and duplicate what bootcamp will do. However, my OSX serve install discs won’t have any windows drivers. Does anyone know if the $30 10.4.6 snow leopard upgrade disk will have the windows drives I will need?

when your done with this can you just reboot and you can pick OSX and windows? or will it be a forever pc computer. Also i have another question, do you have to have the OSX disk in when you want OSX or will both of the operating systems will be on the hard drive so you don’t need any disks?

@Travis, vmware (and parallels) let you boot into OSX and the have windows running AT THE SAME TIME as OSX. You can choose to have it in a window, or in coherence mode where the windows overlap. VMWare creates a “virtual machine” that Windows is running on.

In bootcamp you boot directly into windows. No OSX is running. It’s just like any other PC then. If you need both OSX and windows and you don’t want to have to shutdown and reboot to switch between the two OSes, you use vmware/parallels/virtualbox.

The easiest thing I found was just to remove the pairing connection and re-establish it all over again. It worked.

My iMAC came from an ex-lease re-seller wthout the MAC OS (HDD erased and no OS disks). I just droped a Windows 7 DVD in the drive and hit install. Everythng works except the speakers (sound out thru the rear jack is fine). I’ll ether get some powered speakers or borrow an OSX disk for drivers.

I don’t think anyone has stated this here but for your first 3 screenshots you should have used the in-built Mac screenshot capture which would have helped to avoid the wonky camera work (SHIFT-CMD-3 or SHIFT-CMD-4) depending on whether you wanted full or partial capture of the screen.
