LAUNCHcast Radio Not Totally Silent

Yahoo is one of the big players participating in today’s SaveNetRadio.org Day of Silence.  I access LAUNCHcast Radio through the Yahoo Music Jukebox, where I also access my Y! Unlimited music subscription.  It occurred to me that LAUNCHcast Radio going silent for Y! Unlimited subscribers might come across as cheating customers, so I tried it to see if Yahoo was showing any special messages.  On my first attempt, all the radio stations said see–SaveNetRadio.org and clicking them did nothing.  But on a second attempt, everything worked as normal.

Is that a fair approach?  I’m not sure it really gets the point across but it does protect the short-term interest of paid subscribers.  Preserving the subscriber base is in the best interest of company shareholders, so from a certain perspective this is the best Yahoo can do.
