Update: Contest is canceled.
Not enough people were interested. Oh well. I’ll try to think of something else interesting to do.
Tell it like it is: No one cares about your blog. No one reads your blog. Enough about your blog already.
Your blog is not special or interesting. Your blog is boring.

Here’s the contest:
Send me any of the No One Cares About Your Blog items [I'd prefer this and this in XXL
but anything in any size is fine; mousepads and buttons are excluded from the contest because honestly no one wants those]. Make sure you mark it as a Gift Order and include your name, email address, and blog / web site (if applicable) in the Gift Message.
I will select 5 random names from the submitters and each winner will get 1/5th of the stuff (minus what I keep). How much will I keep? I’m going to keep just enough in dollar value to make up for the shipping costs.
The Fallout:
I will wear a “No One Cares About Your Blog” shirt every day for the first week of December (including to church and the Next Gen Web Apps workshop I’m speaking at). I will take a picture of myself with people who engage me in conversation about the shirt (within reason and with their permission of course). I’ll post those photos and any funny stories back to the blog.
Each winner will also receive a blog post dedicated to them with photo (if desired), a bio, and a link to his/her blog or web site.
Every submitter will have his/her name and blog / web site listed in a summary post. Note: family-friendly sites only.
Contest closes December 4, 2006 which means you really have to order by November 18 (items ship in 2 days and shipping takes 8-10 days). Anything I receive after December 4 will be used according to my discretion including, but not limited to, giving away at tech events, giving to non-techie relatives as Christmas gifts (heheheh), or giving to homeless people.
The Small Print:
I am not affiliated with the One Horse Shy people nor CafePress. Their stuff just made me laugh.
I reserve the right to change details of the contest to preserve my sanity and possibly my marriage. So, for example, I might change the number of winners if I get a lot more or a lot less stuff than expected.
My shipping address is:
Derek Hatchard
118 Mountain Rd.
Moncton, NB
E1C 2K7
Canada
As a courtesy, please send me shipment tracking numbers if you get them so I know which days to expect shipments at the office. I’m going to be out a few days in November.

Oh no … you’re getting this one from me !

Just let me know if I should be sizing it for you or not.
