Rogers Internet Service is Screwed Up and No ETA for Resolution

My Internet service has been very unreliable since late afternoon yesterday.  I just called Rogers, my ISP, and the automated message says “we are having technical difficulties that are causing some customers to have trouble accessing the Internet.  As of 9:30am, December 22nd, we do not have an estimate for when this problem will be resolved.”

Holy cow.  This is a national ISP.  As of 9:30am the problem was at least 16 hours old.  Wow, not impressive.

BTW, I’m having the problem at home and work. And I know two other people having the same problem at home.
