Vinyl Cafe Podcast Coming – Finally!

Just got an exciting email:

The first ever Vinyl Cafe podcast will be available this Saturday, September 1.  A new podcast available every Saturday. The podcast will feature a story from that week’s broadcast. To find out more about podcasting or to subscribe to the Vinyl Cafe podcast, go to www.cbc.ca/podcasting.  You’ll find the Vinyl Cafe there as of September 3rd.

Doesn’t sound like it will be full shows.  Too bad.  You can, however, listen to the show on streaming radio several times through the week and in several different time zones: http://www.cbc.ca/vinylcafe/.

If you don’t know the Vinyl Cafe:

The show features music – both live and recorded – stories and the misadventures of Dave, the owner of the “Vinyl Cafe”, the world’s smallest record store, where the motto is “We may not be big, but we’re small.” The show also features Dave’s wife, Morley, their two children, Sam and Stephanie and assorted friends and neighbours.

It’s a Canadian classic!  Give it a try (non-Canadians are allowed to listen).

Excellent. I actually said out loud a few days ago “I wonder if they have a podcast”.

    Great news!
