According to Wikipedia, the oldest man in Canada is my great grandfather, Ernest MacPherson, born January 11, 1899. For the longest time everyone thought Gramp was born in 1900 but in the past ten years or so, somebody discovered it was actually 1899.
Gramp was a farmer for many years. At 70 years of age, he could throw a bail of hay one-handed over his head that I would probably struggle to toss with two hands.
